Organizers of the 3rd annual Burien UFO Festival (aka BUFO) – held every year on April 1st – announced that this year they’re adding a Movie Competition to the mix, with a $2500 Award! “Do you have movie/video making skills?” BUFO Founder John White said. “Here is your chance to win $2500! Just make a great, short, 5-minute or less film in Burien showing a ‘Man In Black’ chase scene!” White added:
“Take your cell phone video camera or any other type of video recording device and shoot a five-minute video in Burien. The theme of the video must include men-in-black chasing, and therefore trying to stop anyone from promoting the Burien UFO Festival. The Third annual Burien UFO Festival (BUFO) is coming up on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 and your entry will be shown along with everyone else’s entry on the big screen at the Tin Room Bar & Theater that night as part of the Burien UFO Festival. Your video/movie will be part of the birth of the Burien Film Festival which is being spear-headed by the founders of the Burien UFO Festival. So get your cameras out and start putting together a 5-minute movie and enter to win up to $2500 in cash.”The best films will also be shown right here, on The B-Town Blog. To enter, just send an email to forestledge@gmail.com and request a registration form for “Burien Chase Scene for BUFO.†The registration form will provide instructions describing the theme and basic goals to reach in your movie.
