Demolition has begun on the old Saar's Marketplace for a new LA Fitness

Demolition has begun on the old Saar’s Marketplace store in the Burien Town Plaza (14905 4th Ave SW) for a brand new, 44,500 square foot LA Fitness. According to the City of Burien, the new LA Fitness will span both the former Saar’s and Staples spaces, and include:

• 3-lane lap pool
• Basketball court
• 3 racquetball courts
• Free weights
• Cardio training/exercise area

The project valuation is estimated to be around $4 million dollars, and is expected to be open in November. There are three LA Fitness gyms in the Seattle area, with the nearest located at 350 Baker Boulevard in Tukwila.]]>
