Did you happen to catch those stylish, dapper-looking men riding their vintage-styled motorcycles and scooters through Burien on Sunday, Sept. 30? They were all part of the 2018 Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (‘DGR’), an international fundraiser where men donned their cravats, tussled their ties, pressed their tweed, and rode to raise funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and mental health. The fine chaps who cruised through helped raised around $37,000! Internationally – in 650 different cities – 112,583 riders participated and raise ~$5.8 million globally. The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a celebration of the art of being dapper on classic custom motorcycles, all while helping men’s health issues. Here’s more from their website:

Their focus is on gentlemen who have been dealt a tough hand in life. In particular, we raise funds for research into prostate cancer, and mental health and suicide prevention programs, as part of our mission to support men’s health globally. These funds are invested by our partners, the Movember Foundation, who are the world’s largest men’s health organization.
