Don Crawley being awarded his pin by Lisa Moorehead, Vice President of Membership & Treasurer.[/caption] On Oct. 26, Don Crawley earned his ‘Distinguished Toastmasters Award,’ the highest level of educational achievement in Toastmasters. Only half of 1% of all Toastmasters achieve this prestigious level of accomplishment. The current path to earning DTM status means giving 47 speeches; here is a diagram that explains the necessary steps to achieve this status: “I joined Growthmasters to hone my speaking skills,” Don said. “What I discovered was not only a way to improve as a speaker, but also a wonderful group of caring and supportive friends.” Don is a member and President of the 4801 Growthmasters club.
