EmptyBowls2016Poster Burien’s annual Empty Bowls fundraiser will again hold Lunch and Dinner events on Friday, Jan. 29 at the Burien Community Center, raising money to benefit both the Highline and White Center Food Banks. Last year’s 10th anniversary event broke all fundraising and attendance records – with over 1,200 in attendance donating over $21,000 – let’s see if we can top that this year!

  • Lunch: 11 a.m. – 2 p.m
  • Dinner: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Empty Bowl events can be found around the country raising money to combat hunger in our communities. Moshier Art Center Potters have donated bowls to be filled with soup at this fun event…and all are invited! Your donation will get you the opportunity to pick out a beautiful handmade bowl, as well as a simple but wonderful meal of soup, bread, dessert and drink; all donated by local businesses. Minimum Donation:
  • $15 Adult
  • $10 Child
