Elementary school children and their families are invited to enjoy a free evening of outdoor play during monthly Open Kids Play Area events at Glen Acres Church of Christ in Burien, starting Friday, July 10.
According to Glen Acres Church of Christ, the church is opening its playground to community elementary school students at no charge on the second Friday of each month from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The play area includes a slide, swings, a fort, a castle and a boat.

The remaining 2026 play dates are:
- Friday, July 10
- Friday, Aug. 14
- Friday, Sept. 11
All events will be held at Glen Acres Church of Christ, 11401 10th Ave S. in Burien (map below).
The church said the free program is intended for elementary school students in the community.
The church describes itself as a non denominational congregation that teaches the Bible.
