Highline Public Schools announced that they will start providing basic childcare for a limited number of students in grades Pre-K through 5, starting Wednesday, March 25.

Children must be currently enrolled in a Highline school.

Childcare services will be provided 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. weekdays at each of the following sites:

    • Midway Elementary
    • White Center Heights Elementary

Pre-registration is required. Registration for childcare must be submitted by noon on Monday, March 23. Register online:

Childcare will be staffed by Highline Public Schools employees at a 9:1 ratio and supervised by Highline administrators. Students will be separated into small groups and will rotate throughout the building and outside to minimize contact. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Priority will be given to children of healthcare workers and first responders.
