The City of Burien is inviting residents interested in public service to attend “City 101 for Council Candidates,” a free informational session scheduled for Friday, April 18, 2025, from Noon to 1:30 p.m. at Burien City Hall.
This event offers prospective candidates an opportunity to gain insights into the operations of local government and engage directly with city staff.
“Our Strategic Plan directs the City to encourage all members of the community to participate in the civic process,” City Manager Adolfo Bailon said. “This event is another step forward in dismantling barriers for Burien residents and encouraging them to explore public service. We encourage all residents to learn about how their city works, stay informed, and get involved.”
