On Friday night, Nov 10, 2023, the Kennedy Catholic Lancers varsity boys football team won their WIAA first round playoff game of the 4A WIAA state championship tournament against Curtis High School’s Vikings, by a close score of 37-34.
The game was played at Curtis High School’s stadium in University Place.
With the victory, the Lancers move onto the second round, which will be against the 10-1 Lake Stevens Vikings next weekend (exact time/location TBD). Last year, Lake Stevens snuck past the Lancers by a score of 24-22 in the final WIAA championship final game.
Will the Lancers get retribution this year and move on?
