King County Sheriff’s Office deputies – alongside K9 Quinn – seized significant amounts of fentanyl, heroin, and cash during a narcotics search warrant on Friday, Nov. 15, 2024.

The Special Emphasis Team – based out of Precinct 4 in Burien – targeted a known drug trafficker operating from White Center to Mount Vernon, following several months of investigation involving over 100 hours of surveillance.

The bust resulted in the seizure of:

  • 5.12 pounds of fentanyl powder
  • 13,620 fentanyl M30 pills
  • 1 pound of heroin
  • More than $2,000 in cash

Additionally, a suspect was booked on one count of investigation with intent to distribute and one count of conspiracy.

The estimated street value of the seized narcotics is approximately $286,000.

This operation marks another step in the King County Sheriff’s Office’s ongoing effort to combat the distribution of dangerous drugs like fentanyl and heroin in the region.

“More stellar police work (and K9 Quinn work) means more drugs taken off the streets,” police said in a statement.
