Detectives from the King County Sheriff’s Office successfully executed a significant narcotics bust in southwest King County recently, resulting in the removal of large quantities of dangerous drugs from the streets.

Police said that in the operation, detectives seized:

  • 40.06 pounds of methamphetamine
  • 21,000 M-30 fentanyl pills
  • 3.8 pounds of fentanyl powder
  • 2.44 pounds of heroin

The detectives observed narcotics activity during a one-day operation, made a traffic stop and arrested one; however the investigation is ongoing.

The person arrested has a prior criminal history for narcotics.

The street value is close to $1 million dollars.

The King County Sheriff’s Office credited their K9 unit, particularly K9 Quinn, for its outstanding work in the operation.

“And of course, kudos to our K9 Quinn. As usual, a job very well done,” police said.
