If you saw/heard a helicopter over the Three Tree Point/Seahurst neighborhood on Sunday night, June 16, 2024, the King County Sheriff’s Office said that its Guardian 1 chopper was assisting in the search for person alleged to have vandalized a vehicle just after 8 p.m.
The search covered an area from Maplewild Ave SW up to SW 152nd Street and down 21st Ave SW.
Witnesses told The B-Town Blog that the vandalism suspect was seen walking north on Maplewild Ave SW up from Three Tree Point.
“I know all the activity that there’s been tonight with the police and the suspect and everything else going on,” one resident said. “We just had somebody try to get in our sliding glass door into our living room from our deck, so somebody (is) still out there, be careful stay inside.”
Police said that the search did not find anyone, and no suspect was identified.
“When the police came back to my house, (they) didn’t find anybody, and l asked them if they had caught the guy and they said no he got away, so (I) was not very happy,” another resident said.

We live on Maplewild up where all the police vehicles were. They specifically told us that they had tried to serve a felony warrant on a Hispanic male and he had run off down the ravine (sans shirt) that is just behind the cul-de-sac on SW 154th Pl. This was around 9:20pm.
