CARES of Burien & Des Moines Animal Shelter has issued an urgent request for donations of kitten food, as their supplies are running low.
The shelter is asking for contributions of Purina One Kitten food, which can be ordered directly from their Amazon wishlist here, or for donors to drop off cans of food at the shelter’s location (map below).
The animal shelter, which provides care for homeless and vulnerable animals, emphasized the importance of community support in ensuring that young kittens receive the nourishment they need.
“Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated,” the shelter said in its appeal.
In addition to kitten food, the shelter has provided a general wishlist for those who wish to help with other supplies. CARES expressed their gratitude to the community.
“Thank you so much for your continued support!” organizers said. “We feel that together, we can give these little ones the care they need.”
