Des Moines Memorial Drive was closed between Normandy Park Road and S. 171st Street on Wednesday morning, Mar. 29, 2023 due to an overturned semi-truck.
Police say that just after 5:30 a.m., the King County Sheriff’s Office responded to an injury accident in the 17500 block of Des Moines Memorial Drive S.
The accident involved two vehicles – a passenger sedan and a large delivery type truck.
KCSO’s MARR Unit responded to the scene and will be continuing the investigation.
Traffic was closed in both directions until around 11:25 a.m.
There are no further details at this time regarding the drivers or the investigation.
