Photos and Story by Isabel Herbruger, age 11
The Highline High Lady Pirates lost Monday to Seattle Christian 6-0 in women’s soccer. The Varsity Pirates were tired from all the games this past week. They are running a skeleton crew with a couple players out with injuries. The JV players got a lot of playing time today.
The Pirate goalies had nine saves between them. That is impressive!
The next game is Thursday against Hazen at 7:30 p.m. at Highline Memorial Stadium.
