Courtesy Elston Hill comes this photo gallery taken on ‘another dreary day’ in Burien: Another dreary day. Can you believe it? We just spent a month in Wyoming and Alberta. Cold? Yes. But it was invigorating. But this? Oh, well, we needed to get out for a walk in the neighborhood (click images to see larger versions/slideshow): It was real rain. And in the midst of this rain were two men piling shingles on top of a three story house! A conveyor built carried the shingles up to them and they were tied to the roof with ropes: A wheel barrow filled with water beside a house under construction: The above pictures were taken with my pocket camera. After coming home, I went out and took a few more pictures in our yard of spring flowers with my macro lens: Spring is coming! And here is a link to our Wyoming and Alberta pictures in temperatures down to minus 17 degrees Fahrenheit: http://www.elstonhill.com/Alberta.html Elston adds:

“I just read The Seattle Times’ article, ‘As if you didn’t know: Seattle area has had a ‘severe’ winter’ and I think you might enjoy it, too.
