The 4th of July is an awesome, day-long celebration in Burien’s beautiful Three Tree Point neighborhood – starting with a community breakfast, flag-raising ceremony, kids’ parade and games, live music, then ending with barge-based fireworks off the point.
New this year was a rare flyover from the Goodyear Blimp ‘Spirit of Innovation’, which apparently was en route to an event in Abbottsford, BC!

The cops did not do their job last night
My 2 week old twins were in the car directly next to the vehicle that was shooting and my 4 year old and one year old were on the other side of the car . I had to run through the field while they were shooting and get the police.

Interesting you have your two week old twins and 4 year old out at 11:30 pm also the 112th and 1st is right on the border of burien and white center (unincorporated king county) and has been used for fireworks for years. Fireworks are legal in unincorporated king county. Also if you want the police to be able to press charges for someone lighting off fireworks in burien then you have to more proof then your own word against the other person like a photo or video of the person lighting off the fireworks. So then the police will have evidence to show proof of the crime and who commit it .
See yes it’s tragic these two lady’s got shot but what where you thinking letting your new born’s breath in all the smoke from the fireworks and letting them around people intoxicated while lighting off fireworks. Your children should of been at home ether in bed or watching the fireworks on tv.
Also are you marisa or ALEXIS because some name marisa has posted a very similar comment on the story about the shooting on this blog.
