This week we’ll experience some of the lowest tides of the year, and BTB Contributor Elston Hill took some great photos Tuesday morning (June 16) at Three Tree Point with his wife Jackline Hill and friend Chris Ensor from Kent. “For anyone interested in taking advantage of these low tides, tomorrow’s (Wednesday, June 17) low tide will be -2.4 feet at 12:11 p.m.,” Elston said. “Walking along the beaches at this very low tide, beachgoers can rest assured that they are not trespassing above the mean low tide. The low tide should also be visible from Seahurst Park.” Click images to see larger versions/slideshow: [caption id="attachment_87187" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Taken from the very tip of Three Tree Point, looking inland.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_87181" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Just east of the point.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_87180" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Another view east of Three Tree Point.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_87179" align="aligncenter" width="490"] North of Three Tree Point.[/caption] [caption id="attachment_87178" align="aligncenter" width="490"] Clam Shell on beach exposed by low tide.[/caption]]]>
