The King County Sheriff’s Office wants to remind community members that live in their jurisdiction or contract cities (like Burien) not to call 911 or their non-emergency line to report gatherings of over 250 people.
As we previously reported, this is because Gov. Jay Inslee banned all gatherings of 250 or more due to the covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.
Concerns about public gatherings should be directed to public health at coronavirus@kingcounty.gov.
