King County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect vehicle in a fatal hit & run that occurred in Burien around 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2023.

As we previously reported, the hit-and-run on Ambaum Blvd. S. near S. 174th Street (map below) in south Burien killed a woman, who was identified to The B-Town Blog by a family member as Gail Donnelly.

Upon the arrival of Burien Police and King County Fire District #2 to the scene, Donnelly was located on the side of the road with “heavy trauma,” and crews were unable to resuscitate her. 

Pictured above (actual vehicle): the suspect 2000-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe with damage to the right (passenger side) headlight, hood, and fog light. Help is needed in locating this vehicle that police said was involved in the fatality.
