New York’s Actors Studio trained Playwright Don Zolidis visited the classroom of Highline High School’s Drama Department recently. Zolidis is considered “the most produced high school playwright in America today.” “It was a true honor to have him share his story and script developmental process,” Instructor Nicole Wells told The B-Town Blog. Don even stayed to watch the cast, and was impressed with their acting abilities and the progression of the play. “This is a true compliment to our program,” Wells added. The drama students were inspired to experiment with playwriting, and they upped their performance level for their upcoming winter play, “The Election,” which will be performed at the Highline Performing Arts Center Jan. 13 & 14 (read more here). “I am extremely excited for our performance for Act I on January 12th,” Wells said. “I hope you enjoy it as much as Don did.” Wells adds:

“I hope you are proud of our program…”
