Saturday morning (Mar. 3) shortly before 11 a.m., Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a bank robbery suspect just minutes after he robbed the Chase Bank on SW 150th Street in Burien (map below). Police say that a large amount of cash was taken from the bank by a male subject, who reportedly passed a note to a teller but did not show a weapon. Within minutes, Officers were on the scene and created a perimeter around the bank and surrounding areas. While deputies arrived in the area, one saw a male subject matching the description given to them by the bank. Officers detained the male just a few blocks away from the bank. Officers were able to recover the cash taken from the bank, and the male subject was booked into jail. “Great job Officers!”
