Veterans and their families can meet employers, workforce professionals and community organizations at the Next Mission Mixer in Burien this Wednesday, Sept. 23, according to the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce.
The event runs from 4 to 6 p.m. at St. Anne Hospital in Burien (map below).
The chamber says the mixer is intended to help veterans explore jobs, career paths, community resources and peer support as they navigate civilian life.
Local professionals, community members and current and former service members are invited to attend.
Admission is $25 for chamber members and $35 for nonmembers. Veterans and active duty service members can receive 25% off with the code NextMission.
