The Orchestra of Flight – a nonprofit community orchestra based in Burien – invites recreational musicians to join them for their 2024-25 season, beginning Sept. 9, 2024.
Musicians rehearse Monday nights from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Episcopal Church in Burien (map below).
“Our mission is to bring live orchestral music to seniors and to other communities whose members may have difficulty attending concerts in traditional venues,” organizers said.
The Orchestra has openings for percussion, all string instruments, bassoon, trombone, and French horn.
No auditions are required to join.
In addition to performing at senior communities, they perform for the public at St. Elizabeth Church in Burien.
“Join us and have fun while improving your musical skills and sharing the gift of music with others.”
