Burien Police officers arrested two suspects on Thursday, Sept. 18, after responding within minutes to a shoplifting incident at Grocery Outlet and an armed robbery at the Bank of America next door on SW 152nd Street downtown.
Deputies were first dispatched to Grocery Outlet for a reported shoplifting in progress. Police said the suspect had just left the store when they were detained. The suspect also damaged property and assaulted staff members before being taken into custody.
While deputies were still on scene, they were alerted to an armed robbery at the Bank of America next door. The suspect in that case was also still at the location, and deputies arrested them.
Both suspects were placed under arrest.
“Thank you to our citizens who promptly reported this incident,” police said in a statement.
how do you tell there’s a homeless camp near by?
It looks like they picked up two losers for the price of one!
It would be great to know what brought these winners to Burien, was it the Transit Center or possibly the DESC or nearby LEAD office, or where they knocking on doors selling magazines?
