Tukwila Police apprehended three armed robbery suspects late Friday night, Nov. 15, 2024, after locating a stolen vehicle tied to multiple convenience store robberies earlier in the day in Seattle.

Officers discovered the vehicle parked with its lights off outside a convenience store in the 5800 block of Southcenter Boulevard (map below), suspecting the occupants were preparing for another robbery.

When officers approached, the suspects fled in the vehicle, prompting a pursuit due to the severity of the crimes. The chase continued onto northbound I-5, with the King County Sheriff’s Guardian One helicopter assisting in tracking the suspects as they drove into Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.

The suspects abandoned the vehicle and attempted to escape on foot but were apprehended with the help of multiple law enforcement agencies.

Both the suspects and the vehicle were turned over to Seattle Police for further investigation.

No injuries were reported during the incident, and authorities praised the coordination among agencies for the safe resolution of the pursuit.
