Tukwila Police were dispatched on Sunday night, Jan. 5, 2025 to the 4700 block of Southcenter Boulevard (map below) in response to a domestic violence incident involving an armed suspect.

Police said that as officers arrived at the scene, the suspect fled in a vehicle, striking and disabling a K-9 patrol car in the process.

Due to the seriousness of the incident, police authorized a pursuit, which extended onto I-5 before being terminated for safety reasons.

The suspect has been identified and now faces multiple charges, including domestic violence and hit-and-run offenses.

Tukwila Police are continuing their investigation.

No injuries to officers or the K-9 were reported during the incident.
