Burien Police/King County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Friday afternoon, May 30, 2025 at Lady Bug Bikini Espresso in Burien.

Deputies responded to the business in the 15800 block of 1st Avenue South just before 2:30 p.m. on Friday, after receiving reports of a robbery at the drive-thru coffee stand.

According to the initial report, the victim said they were robbed at gunpoint.

No injuries were reported.

As of Saturday evening, May 31, no arrests had been made, and the suspect remains at large.

An eyewitness told The B-Town Blog that SW 160th Street near Interstate Tires was blocked by police, along with several side streets along 1st Avenue South – from the area near the mini mart leading to Value Village and Azteca – extending intermittently down to about SW 153rd Street.

This investigation is ongoing and being taken over by King County Major Crimes.
