Transform Burien has announced its December schedule, offering a variety of community services and events to support local residents during the holiday season.

From free health services to holiday haircuts, the organization continues its mission to uplift the community.

Key Events and Services

Wednesday, Dec. 4: The King County Medical Van will be onsite to provide essential health and dental services.

Sunday, Dec. 15: Community Transportation Navigators will offer ORCA card services, information on transportation, government phones/tablets, and more. Additionally, free haircuts will be provided by local barbers on a first-come, first-served basis, just in time for the holidays.

Wednesday, Dec. 18: Frank from “Shower to the People” will be on hand to provide hot showers and supplies. The Cowlitz Indian Tribe Health Wellness Van will also be available to meet wellness needs, answer questions, and administer flu and COVID-19 vaccines. Alcohol and substance treatment resources will also be offered.

Holiday Schedule

Transform Burien will be closed for the holidays from Monday, Dec. 23, through Thursday, Jan. 2, and will reopen on Friday, Jan. 3, 2025.
