A dog was stolen during a home burglary in Tukwila on May 16, 2025, prompting Tukwila Police to ask for the public’s help in locating the suspect and recovering the pet.

Police said the burglary occurred in the 13300 block of 56th Avenue South (map below), where several items were taken from the residence, including the homeowner’s dog, whose photo was shared publicly by the Tukwila Police Department.

Police are searching for a suspect described as a thin-build transient woman in her 50s to 60s with blonde hair. She is known to frequent the area around Interurban Avenue South and I-5, particularly near nearby convenience stores.

“If you see someone matching the suspect’s description with this dog in Tukwila, please call Tukwila Police,” the department said in a public notice.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Tukwila Police at (206) 241-2121 and reference case #250002340.
