The King County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday that two suspects – both teenage gang members – have been arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting that tragically took the life of a 51-year old woman working in a chiropractic office in Burien Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 19. Police say that late Wednesday night, with information obtained by Detectives through interviews, they were able to identify the suspect vehicle, which they located in the 12200 block of Ambaum Blvd. SW, and two suspects were arrested as they were leaving the residence. The arrested suspects – both just 17-years old – are known members of the UL (United Lakotes) Sureno street gang. At 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a Deputy heard multiple shots being fired from an SUV near S. 152nd and 1st Ave South, and a vehicle took off southbound on 1st Ave South. BTB Publisher Scott Schaefer happened to be driving south on 1st Ave South just one minute after the shooting (this pic is timestamped at 2:46 p.m.) when he took this photo of police activity near the southeast corner of SW 152nd & 1st Ave South in the parking lot of a rental business: Police say that a 39-year old male and his 15-year old son were walking on S. 152nd Street, and appeared to be the intended targets of the drive-by shooting. Neither the father nor his son were hit or injured. However, one of the bullets fired by the suspects in the SUV went through the window of the One Source Chiropractic office located across the street at 15217 1st Ave South, striking a 51-year old female who was working at the front desk. Tragically, she died from her injuries at the scene. The victim was identified by friends and family – and just confirmed by the King County Medical Examiner’s Office as Gabriela Reyes-Dominguez:
