A vehicle crashed into the Burien Market on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 28, 2024, causing minor damage but no injuries, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies and crews from King County Fire District No. 2 responded to the incident at 233 SW 152nd Street (map below) at 3:43 p.m. 

The driver, store employees, and emergency crews all escaped unharmed.

The building sustained non-structural damage, with repairs described as cosmetic in nature.

Police documented the case as an accident.

The market remains open for business, and no significant disruptions are expected during the repair process.
