Halloween is Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023, and one way to celebrate it (other than the usual Trick-Or-Treating with kids) is to venture out and appreciate some of the amazing decorations created by your B-Town neighbors.
These types of drive-around and admire activities are usually reserved for more standard holiday-themed homes, but we think this should become a new Halloween tradition for Burien.
We know there are many displays out there, but some of the highlights we’ve seen for 2023 include:
- The very funny Dead/Skeleton Barbie Display in Gregory Heights.
- Lots of weird, pirate-themed creepiness at 16431 13th Ave SW:
- The animated, synchronized-to-music display (to a low-powered FM radio station you can tune into at 102.1FM) at a house just south of Gregory Heights Elementary School on the east side of 16th Ave SW.
- The Dill House located where Maplewild Ave SW intersects with SW 172nd in Three Tree Point, with the usual whimsical scenarios as displayed by Greg and Rhonda Dill.
