Discover Burien’s annual Clean Sweep is returning on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. – Noon, and Volunteers are needed.

This is a volunteer-driven cleanup event that runs throughout Burien.

A free lunch is provided at the end, and there will also be a bike giveaway.

“Let’s clean up Burien and have some fun!”

Event Details:

  • All participants must register for the event below, please provide contact information and how many will accompany your cleanup crew.
  • The day begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Discover Burien office (611 SW 152nd Street, Burien, WA 98166; map below) where each crew will select from the designated areas.
  • Clean-up ends at 11 a.m.
  • Please plan to provide your own trash bags and gloves for your shift. Discover Burien is able to supply additional trash bags and rubber gloves as needed.
  • After your shift, please stop by the Discover Burien office where you can pick up your FREE LUNCH TO GO! Vegetarian options will also be available.
  • Stay tuned for more information on the Free Bike program.

  1. Will the Mayor (whoever it is this month) be ot helping pick-up litter in the streets? After all the Mayor( whoever it is this month) represent the streets of Burien?! Dont think the tax payors and residents would like to see that?

  2. There should be no effort put towards the trash strewn camps on 152nd, that should be dealt with and done by the activists that support those there.
