Get ready to cheer for your favorite furry friends—Pooch Playoffs 2025 kicks off this Saturday, March 29, 2025, with daily bracket-style voting and a shot at international fame for one lucky pup.
Hosted by local photography studio Clover Laine, the playful competition is modeled after the NCAA’s March Madness tournament and features adorable dog contestants vying for votes in head-to-head matchups.
Voting begins at https://www.cloverlaine.com/pooch/, with Round 2 launching Tuesday, April 1, and the final winner to be crowned Friday, April 4.
So far, the event has raised more than $1,800, with proceeds going to animal-related causes.
“People can vote once per day, and it’s just like a March Madness bracket—but with way more paws,” organizers said.
The winner of the local tournament will move on to the international round of Pooch Playoffs.
Voting instructions and matchup info will be posted on the event website Saturday morning.
