From our friends at WABI Burien:

All are welcome to join the WABI Weekday Walkers along the Cedar River Trail on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, starting at 10 a.m. (NOTE LATER START TIME).

We’ll start from the Cedar River trail parking lot that is adjacent to the Renton Rowing Center, in Renton. The parking lot stretches along the trail and the river. We’ll plan to meet at the northern end of the lot, closest to Lake Washington.

The walk will take us south on the Cedar River trail for 1.5 miles. Along the way we’ll pass the Renton airport and the Renton Memorial Stadium. When we reach the Renton library, we’ll look for salmon swimming upstream, and then we’ll retrace our steps back to the starting point.

This flat, 3-mile round trip journey on paved pathway will take about one hour.
