Highline Public Schools announced this week that it’s the first school district in the Puget Sound region to launch its own mobile app. “Students, staff, families and the community have a new and more convenient way to stay informed about what’s happening in our schools,” reads an announcement. “The Highline app gives you access to news, district and school calendars, emergency notifications, staff contact information and more. You can customize the app so you receive  information specific to your student’s school. The app can be easily translated into nearly 70 different languages.” Highline’s mobile app is available free for Andriod, iPhone, and iPad. Download it now by searching ‘Highline Public Schools’ on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
