All schools in the Highline Public Schools district will operate on a two-hour delay on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, due to icy road conditions, particularly in the southern part of the district, the district announced.

Buses will run on their regular routes but two hours later than normal.

Schedule Adjustments:

  • No breakfast service.
  • No morning or afternoon half-day preschool or ECEAP classes.
  • Full-day preschool/ECEAP will start two hours late.
  • No morning classes at Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC); afternoon classes will proceed as scheduled.
  • All before-school programs, including clubs, activities, and in-school daycare, are canceled.
  • No transportation will be provided to schools outside the district.

Schools will dismiss at their regular times, and after-school programs will continue as scheduled.

District officials urge families to monitor the district website for any updates and remind everyone to stay safe and warm while traveling.
