Highline Public Schools is operating on a two-hour delay on Monday, Feb. 3, 2025, due to inclement weather, with buses running on alternate routes.

The delay means all buses will pick up students at alternate stops two hours later than usual. School will be dismissed at normal times, and students will also be dropped off at alternate stops in the afternoon.

Other schedule changes include:

  • No breakfast service
  • No morning or afternoon preschool and ECEAP classes
  • No morning classes at Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC), but afternoon PSSC classes will proceed as scheduled
  • All before-school programs, clubs, activities, and in-school daycare are canceled
  • No transportation will be provided to schools outside the district

Staff Expectations

District staff are expected to report to work as close to on time as possible, using personal discretion regarding safety. Additional guidance on employee expectations for inclement weather is available on the Staff Hub.

Families are encouraged to check the district website for updates and review the full list of alternate bus stops.
