All Highline Public Schools will start two hours late on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, due to weather and road conditions, district officials announced.
Buses will operate on a two-hour delay, stopping at regular locations.
The delay accounts for snowfall in the northern part of the district and ensures that staff members commuting from affected areas can arrive safely.
What’s Affected by the Delay
- No breakfast service.
- Half-day preschool and ECEAP are canceled.
- Full-day preschool and ECEAP will start two hours late.
- No morning classes for Puget Sound Skills Center (PSSC); afternoon classes remain on schedule.
- All before-school programs, including clubs, activities, and in-school daycare, are canceled.
- No transportation will be provided to schools outside of the district.
Regular Dismissal & Afternoon Programs
- Schools will dismiss at normal times.
- After-school programs, clubs, activities, and in-school daycare will operate as scheduled.
