Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office is reporting about a recent recovery of methamphetamine, cash and a loaded 9mm pistol during a traffic stop in Burien:

Police say that on Oct. 14, 2020, the Precinct 4 (White Center/Burien) Special Emphasis Team conducted a traffic stop in Burien. The driver of the car was observed conducting a narcotics transaction prior to the stop. The driver had a suspended license and the vehicle was unlicensed.

K9 Fury searched the exterior of the vehicle and immediately alerted, indicating the presence of narcotics.

A warrant for the vehicle was obtained and the following was discovered inside the vehicle:

      • 10.7 pounds of methamphetamine
      • $4,252 in cash
      • 9mm pistol with loaded 30 round magazine

The suspect in this case was booked for Investigation VUCSA-Possession with Intent to Deliver.
