On Wednesday (July 2), Boulevard Park Place Active Senior Living presented a check to the American Cancer Society for $13,449.00, from the Highline Relay for Life.
The seniors achieved this by walking 5,695 miles from January to June 2014, along with receiving donations from family members.
“Our active group celebrated yesterday their successes with some home made cherry cake and ice cream,” said Vicki Guerrero, Marketing and Activities Director. “This donation means a lot to us in helping to finish the fight and find a cure for cancer.”]]>
