Mount Rainier High School senior Aden Haury of Burien placed third in the all-around competition at a national gymnastics meet held May 710 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Haury, a senior in the school’s International Baccalaureate program, competed against gymnasts from across the country and earned a podium finish in the all around event.

According to meet results from the 2026 Men’s Junior National Championships, Haury posted a combined all around score of 148.800 to finish third nationally in the men’s 19 and under division.

Competing as team captain for Metropolitan Gym of Kent, he recorded a finals score of 76.950, highlighted by scores of 13.200 on both the parallel bars and high bar events.

This fall, Haury will attend the University of Washington, where he has been accepted into the Foster School of Business and the Washington men’s gymnastics program.
