On Tuesday night, July 30, 2024 at about 7:50 p.m., Burien Deputies and Medics responded to the area of Burien Town Square Park for a report of an unresponsive body.
Police said that witnesses reported seeing an unresponsive person lying on the ground on stairs at the park, located on SW 152nd Street and 5th Place SW (map below).
Medics located the person, but despite lifesaving interventions the victim passed away.
The King County Medical Examiner’s Office arrived on scene to take possession of the decedent.
There is no further information at this time – like cause of death, age, gender, identification – as the case is still under investigation with the Medical Examiner’s Office.
