Last week, we first reported on how Burien Police / King County Sheriff’s Office detectives served a search warrant in conjunction with drug dealing activity in the area surrounding the downtown Burien Library.

This week police released the following update:

Last week, Precinct 4 Street Crimes Unit served a warrant at a home in the 15000 block of 6th Ave SW in Burien (map below).

This operation was the result of a 3-month long investigation that targeted street-level narcotics distribution throughout the city of Burien.

Deputies seized 32+ grams of heroin, 15+ grams of methamphetamine, Suboxone® pills, and ammunition. Drug proceeds in the form of gold and cash were also seized as part of the warrant.

Two suspects were booked for investigation of narcotics charges, and a referral was made to Child Protective Services for children at the home.

Multiple units participated in the operation and investigation, with the focus aimed at preventing criminal activity that impacts the quality of life for the residents of Burien and the surrounding community.
