Kennedy Catholic extended their perfect season with a commanding 62-24 victory over Auburn High Trojans in a non-conference high school football matchup at Highline Memorial Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024.

The Lancers, currently ranked 10th in the state, continued their strong 2024 performance with the convincing win over their North Puget Sound League 4A District rivals.

So far this season, the Lancers are averaging 45.75 points per game.

Kennedy Catholic’s Indiana Jones put on a performance, racking up multiple touchdowns, including a pair of rushing scores in the first and second quarters. Quarterback Devon Forehand also had a strong showing, throwing for a 45-yard touchdown early in the game and contributing a 60-yard rushing score later. Auburn fought back, with quarterback Baylen Erdmann connecting for a 45-yard touchdown pass to Lucas Whitehall-Gilkes, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Kennedy Catholic’s relentless offensive onslaught.

By halftime, Kennedy Catholic had built a 41-18 lead and continued to pull away in the second half, capping off their win with a 62-24 final score. Auburn, now 3-2, struggled to contain Kennedy Catholic’s explosive plays, despite showing resilience in the first quarter with two touchdowns of their own.

Kennedy Catholic will next face Auburn Riverside in an away game on Friday night, Oct. 11, while Auburn looks to bounce back in their upcoming game against Tahoma.

The win solidifies Kennedy Catholic’s place as a top contender this season, with their high-powered offense firing on all cylinders.
