Burien’s Kennedy Catholic High Lancers came out on top with a commanding 22-6 win over the Bothell High Cougars in a non-conference away football game on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 7, 2024.
The Lancers took control early at Pop Keeney Stadium, scoring on their first drive with a 9-yard rushing touchdown by Royce Miller.
Kennedy Catholic extended their lead with a 35-yard touchdown pass from Miller to Indiana Jones in the second quarter, followed by a 2-yard rushing score just before halftime.
Bothell managed a third-quarter touchdown but couldn’t overcome Kennedy’s defense.
A late field goal by Ryan Thomas secured the victory for the Lancers.
