The Kennedy Catholic High School Lancers dominated the Mt. Rainier Rams in an away conference victory by a score of 57-7 at Highline Memorial Stadium on Friday night, Oct. 27, 2023.

The final regular season win cements the Lancers championship of their 4A North Puget Sound District division with an overall 8-1 and 6-0 league record.

They averaged just over 47 points per game during the regular 2023 season, and scored 26 points in a very offensively- active 3rd quarter.

  • #2 Mason Moriarty had a 70-yard rushing TD to make it KCHS 13, MRHS 0

2nd quarter:

  • #5 Indiana Jones had a 5-yard rushing TD to make it KCHS 20, MRHS 0
  • #81 Ryan Thomas kicked a 20-yard Field Goal to make it KCHS 24, MRHS 0 at the half

3rd quarter:

  • #5 Indiana Jones had a 20-yard rushing TD to make it KCHS 30, MRHS 0
  • #3 Devon Forehand completed a 5-yard pass to #8 Dante Saladino for a TD to make it KCHS 37, MRHS 0
  • #27 Royce Miller had a 40-yard rushing TD to make it KCHS 43, MRHS 0
  • #5 Indiana Jones had an 8-yard rushing TD to make it KCHS 49, MRHS 0

4th quarter:

  • #1 Landen Kahai had a 20-yard rushing TD to make it KCHS 56, MRHS 0
  • With less than a minute to go, MRHS finally scored their only TD on a passing play to make the final score 57-7.

The Lancers next move into the WIAA 4A state championship bracket, which will begin in early November.
