The Burien Film Office invites filmmakers and industry professionals to join the fifth episode of its Filmmaker Happy Hour this coming Thursday, June 20, 2024, from 7–9 p.m. at The Tin Room & Theater in Olde Burien (map below).

This monthly event offers a prime opportunity for networking, learning, and gaining valuable insights into the film industry. Attendees can connect with fellow filmmakers in the welcoming atmosphere of The Tin Room & Theater.

  • Special guest speakers include Kenneth Hagen from Washington FilmWorks, who will provide details on the Small Budget Production Incentive, offering filmmakers valuable information on how to benefit from this program.
  • Additionally, Chris Swenson from the Seattle Film Office will discuss Seattle’s new production office facility, M5, located in the old KCTS building, and how it can meet various production needs.
  • Representatives from Glazer’s Cameras and Northwest Camera Co. will also be in attendance to discuss rental options for production gear and share best practices for renting from their companies.

The event is hosted by the Burien Film Office, Burien Film Festival, and Seattle 48 Hour Film Project.

This is a must-attend event for anyone involved in or interested in the film industry. Attendees will have the chance to gain valuable insights, ask questions, and network with peers in a relaxed and friendly environment.
