Courtesy Joel Lilly comes this great photo of anemones at Seahurst Park Beach seen during a low tide in February, 2023:

“I was experimenting with partially submerging my iPhone 14,” Lilly told The B-Town Blog. “It was shot as ultra wide angle. Some post processing within the Apple Photo app only.”

Lowest Tide of Year is Wednesday, May 28

If you dig low tides and the treasures that await within Puget Sound, you might want to head down to our local shorelines on Wednesday, May 28, when there will be a -4.05 low tide at 12:20 p.m.

And be sure to send us your best pics!

EDITOR’S NOTE: “Photo Friday” is an occasional post we publish that showcases photos from readers, and we’re always looking for more great local pics to feature! If you have a great photo (or more) you’d like us to share, please email a medium/high-res image to scott@southkingmedia.com and try to include what you shot it with, technical settings you used, as well as subject, location or other relevant details. Thanks!
